Volunteering Opportunities

Working in the heart of your community

Are you….

Free for few hours each week?

In need of some company?

Looking to work, meet with and help others in your community?

Seeking to share your skills?

If you’ve answered ‘yes’ to any or indeed all of those questions then we may well have just the role for you to fill.

If you love meeting others and chatting, or would like the chance to meet new friends in a really friendly setting or perhaps simply wish to help your local community then carry on reading. We may well be able to help you as much as you can help us!

We are actively seeking volunteers for a range of roles, including:

Coffee Bar Volunteers: serving drinks and snacks and looking after our customers.

Gardening: general weeding and tidying, planting and pruning.

General Maintenance: small electrical work, cleaning, simple building work.

Fundraising - organising or helping at events throughout the year: Bake Sales (baking and running the stall), Christmas Fair - organising and helping setting up and clearing away.

If you feel you may be able to fulfil one or any of the above roles, then please drop us a line, giving your contact details, (name, address and telephone number) and placing your details in the Letter Box at Reception or sending them by mail to The Cotteridge Church, 24 Pershore Road South, Birmingham B30 3EJ. Or pop in to Church to see what goes on here throughout the week.
